The Nissan Heritage Collection, also known as the Zama Collection consists of over 400 cars from Nissan’s past. Cars in the collection date as far back as the 1930s.

Prince, Datsun and Nissan road and racecars are maintained by staff who once worked in the Yokohama factory close by. The facility that houses the cars is open to the public, however, you need to book in advance. Double Apex was lucky to gain access to the facility a few years ago. We took these pics during that visit and stumbled upon them recently. We share them here for you to enjoy.

The original Nissan GT-R aka Hakosuka. It was powered by a 2,0-litre, dual overhead camshaft, six-cylinder motor that produced 118 kW and 177 N.m of torque.
