A restomod is loosely defined as a classic car that has been restored and modified with modern parts, production techniques and materials to be better than the original product. With the increasing electrification of new models, it’s no surprise that restomods gain in popularity with each passing year. We’ve published a few really interesting examples of this trend during 2022. Here, in no particular order, are our Top 5 Restomods of 2022.

Totem Automobili GT Super

Sportscars from the 1960s are ideal candidates for modern upgrading. Totem Automobili has based its car on the ever-popular series 105 Alfa Romeo, but it builds a complete new monocoque from carbon-fibre. Read more about the V6 powered ‘classic’ here.
