We first learned about Officine Fioravanti when the company debuted a restomod version of the iconic Ferrari Testarossa. Well it seems they have been busy as the firm has unveiled yet another creation called the Fioravanti TR Alte Prestazioni. This project is a one-off creation for a client.

Mixed Roots

Officine Fioravanti may sound like an Italian company but it is a Swiss-based outfit. The company has taken the restomod concept one step further and calls the Fioravanti TR Alte Prestazioni a ‘hyperclassic’. By the way ‘alte prestazioni’ is Italian for ‘high performance’.

The idea behind the ‘hyperclassic’ is to fundamentally alter the donor car’s DNA from the ground up. Officine Fioravanti completely reengineered the Testarossa, reworking its engine, electronics and suspension in order to achieve a higher level of performance than the original.

New Inside

The interior of the car features custom-made new seats with Italian upholstery, modified pedals, a 1980s era car phone and a period-looking radio that has Apple CarPlay and Bluetooth connectivity.

New Components

Officine Fioravanti’s TR Alte Prestazioni starts with a strengthened unibody that’s been paired with billet suspension components backed by Öhlins electronically-controlled dampers. The TR Alte Prestazioni also features an electro-hydraulic steering box and a GT3-spec Brembo braking system with 12-step adjustable ABS. Rolling stock consist of custom alloys that mimic the original design of the Testarossa. The new items measure 18-inch in front and 19 at the rear.

Reworked Engine

The Fioravanti’s TR Alte Prestazioni has a heavily modified version of the Ferrari’s flat-12 motor. Among the changes are a new ECU, dry sump lubrication and a bespoke exhaust system. The engine now breathes through a dozen individual bodies. All up the changes have made for 450 kW that allows for a top speed north of 320 km/h.
