South Africa is currently in a new phase of our Coronavirus avoidance measures. However, as we step down from Level 5 to 4, most of us will still be confined to our homes for the foreseeable future. Over the last few weeks we’ve brought you lists containing car content to watch. We realise that some of our readers are four- and two-wheel fans. With that in mind we bring you this list of car content to watch part 4 that outlines great motorcycle content. The story is told by young and old, racers and weekend cruisers, all individuals with a desire to dream, discover, and explore. The movie bagged a Best Documentary award at the 2013 Motorcycle Film Festival.

We’ve covered several F1 movies and documentaries in previous instalments of this series, here’s one for MotoGP fans. Hitting the Apex follows six of the fastest MotoGP riders of the modern age: Marc Marquez, Jorge Lorenzo, Dani Pedrosa, Valentino Rossi, Casey Stoner and the late Marco Simoncelli. The story is narrated by Brad Pitt who talks us through the lives of riders who have been at the pinnacle of MotoGP for years.

We hear expert analysis from fellow racers, Colin Edwards, Leon Haslam and Freddie Spencer. The movie also uncovers how sports psychologists and surgical experts across Europe are help racers to rebuild their minds and bodies in order to race on the edge.
