The annual Sema Show took a break from the world stage in 2020, as did almost every other international event. This year the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) was back in full force as it returned to an in-person, as opposed to virtual, undertaking. Petrolheads from across the US, and any other country that allowed travel, flocked to the 2021 Sema Show in Las Vegas last week.

As usual the vehicles on show were on another level. Cars at the 2021 Sema Show were wild and wacky, old and new with some truly outlandish creations. It is one of the few places in the world were pukka racecars share exhibition space with lifted trucks, Euro sportscars, hot rods and even the Mystery Machine of Scooby Doo fame. Electromods seem to be on the rise, old cars that have been retrofitted with electric motors. There were any number of classics and sportscars with battery powered drivetrains alongside their fuel-burning counterparts.
