The Porsche 911 Turbo S is the newest of the trio. It’s a car that we recently experienced first-hand. The headline numbers are quite impressive. It has 478 kW of power and develops 800 N.m of torque from a twin-turbocharged flat-six motor that displaces just shy of 3,8 litres. Power is sent to all four corners through an all-wheel-drive system. Porsche says this newest car can blast from rest to 100 km/h in just 2,7 seconds, will breach the 200 km/h mark in under nine seconds and will do 330 km/h flat out. You can read our driving review and watch our launch control video at this link.

Ferrari’s Pista has a 3,9-litre twin-turbo V8, which is mated with a twin-clutch transmission. Power is rated as 530 kW with 770 N.m on offer. Drive is sent solely to the rear axle. The Lamborghini Huracan Performante is the oldest of these three. It has max outputs of 470 kW at 8 000 r/min and 600 N.m at 6 500 r/min sent to all four wheels. The naturally aspirated V10 is hooked up to the a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox with launch control. The claimed 0-100 km/h sprint takes 2,9 sec, 0-200 km/h in 8,9 sec and it has a top whack of 325 km/h.
