Modding an Icon

The Ferrari F40 is a modern-day performance icon even in Japan, a country with a fair few of its own performance icons. Usually, we are against the modding of classics, but this Liberty Walk F40 seems to stay within the ethos of the original’s design brief.

As a reminder, the F40 earned its reputation as a no-holds-barred, unsynthesised performance machine. Power from the 2,9-litre V8 arrives in a sudden hit as the twin-turbochargers build boost. Although over 1 300 units were produced, the F40 is highly sought after and current values are skyrocketing.
