During the second race of the Spa-Francorchamps round of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo series this weekend, Swede Fredrik Blomstedt’s number 32 Bonaldi Motorsport Huracan was leading the event with just a few minutes remaining when he got tapped from the left and was sent head-first into barriers.

Blomstedt and four marshals and were injured in the incident, with the driver and a single marshal transferred to hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. The race was red-flagged immediately, and it took staff at the Belgian circuit 90 minutes to repair the tyre wall and clear the Lambo debris. Blomstedt and teammate Patrick Kujala were handed the victory because race organisers used the positions before the incident to determine the final positions.
