There was a horrific Macau F3 crash involving Van Amersfoort racer Sophia Floersch, another driver, two photographers and one marshal.

There was a massive Macau F3 crash at the GP event taking place this weekend. Formula 3 driver Sophia Floersch went airborne after making contact with another racer.

Floersch’s Van Amersfoort racecar was launched over another car, flew through the air before making heaving contact with a temporary trackside structure.

A statement issued by race organisers confirmed that Floersch was conscious when taken to hospital. Four others were also injured in the horror crash, including another driver, two photographers and one marshal.
