Two limited-edition Alfa Romeo Racing Models will debut at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show. The two models, Stelvio and Giulia, who typically work as the premium event staff at many automobile events, were created to underline the strong links between the Italian brand and Formula One.

Limited edition

The Giulia Quadrifoglio and Stelvio Quadrifoglio Alfa Romeo Racing limited editions will be presented to visitors to the Geneva International Motor Show alongside the team’s F1 car. The latter will be driven this season by former world champion Kimi Räikkönen and Italian driver Antonio Giovinazzi. Each car from the team competing in the 2019 Formula One World Championship will carry the names Giulia and Stelvio.

Alfa Romeo Racing  limited edition celebrates involvement in the Formula 1 world championship, in partnership with Sauber. The two models will be instantly recognisable thanks to livery of the F1 cars with Trofeo White and Competizione Red two-tone paintwork.

Other bespoke details include an exposed carbon fibre roof on the Giulia, the burnished alloy wheels (19-inch on the Giulia and 20-inch on the Stelvio), red brake calipers, carbon ceramic brakes and the Akrapovič titanium exhaust. Carbon fibre details are also found on the wing mirrors, “V” insert in the front aerofoil, side skirt inserts and kick plates (on Giulia).

The exterior treatment is complemented by stylistic details, including the Sparco racing seats with red stitching and carbon shell structure, with carbon insert shift knob and leather and Alcantara steering wheel with carbon inserts.

Mechanically unchanged

Both models remain fairly unchanged from a mechanical viewpoint. Under the bonnet of both models is a 2,9-litre twin-turbocharged V6 petrol engine that develops 375 kW and 600 N.m of torque. With that level of power both vehicles can sprint to 100 km/h from standstill in under four seconds.
