KoenigsEgg Hunting in the woods

Koenigsegg is one of high-end automakers that does not take itself too seriously. The company created this “what if” video to help celebrate easter. We see a lone figure easter egg hunting in the Arctic Circle. We suspect the egg hunter may be company test driver Robert Serwanski.

Check out the dramatic Raw by Koenigsegg concept car at this link.

Our lead character stumbles into a Koenigsegg test facility and does what any petrolhead would… he goes inside. There he finds a Koenigsegg Jesko test car. The Jesko has a twin-turbocharged 5,0-litre V8. That engine cranks out 1 177 kW along with 1 500 N.m of torque on E85 fuel. Those figures drop just a little to 941 kW/1 000 N.m on regular pump gas.

Koenigsegg says that the halo model can sprint from 0-100 km/h in under three seconds. The quoted top speed is 485 km/h in ‘regular’ spec. This variant is said to have 1 000 kg of downforce. The low-drag Absolut version is said to be capable of doing 530 km/h. Only 125 units of the Jesko will be built. Koenigsegg has already broken the 0-400-0 km/h record, so expect them to take a shot at the production-car top speed record with the Jesko Absolut

The egg hunter jumps into the car and makes his way out of the underground garage. Watch as the test driver slides the Jesko on a frozen lake in the KoenigsEgg Hunting video below. If you enjoyed this post, please feel free to share it
