M8 based

The G-Power G8M Hurricane RS and RR models are based on the already quick and powerful BMW M8. This range-leader is available in two-door coupe, four-door coupe and cabriolet body styles. All are powered by a twin-turbocharged 4,4-litre V8 engine. In ‘regular’ guise the motor is good for 441 kW allied with 750 N.m of peak torque. If you tick the box marked ‘Competition’, when ordering your M8, then you can expect 460 kW with a similar torque output.

In the case of the G-Power G8M Hurricane RS power has been raised to 618 kW/1 050 Nm of torque. The increase is achieved by upgrading the turbochargers as well as a stainless steel exhaust system. Ramping up the power even more in the RR version (pictured) G-Power adds forged pistons, modified conrods, a larger cooling package and an uprated drivetrain. Peak power is 662 kW with the same, limited, torque output. Both versions can reach a top speed of 340 km/h.

G-Power G8M Hurricanes ride on G-Power’s own coilover suspension system called Variant 4. This set-up is adjustable for rebound and compression damping. The new suspension helps control two different alloy options. These measure 21×9 inch front and 21×10,5 inch rear, and are wrapped with 285/30 and 295/30 ZR tyres. If the massive wheels aren’t enough of a visual differentiation then the fixed rear wing will be, as is the eye-catching wrap.
