Talk about exclusive. This Brabus 700 4×4² Final Edition is just one of ten that will be built. Brabus refers to the Brabus 700 4×4² Final Edition as a supercar, though we’re sure a few supercar manufacturers will take exception to this.

Merc-AMG based

As with many of the company’s products, the Brabus 700 4×4² Final Edition started out life as a Mercedes product. A G63 is the starting point for this behemoth.

The Brabus 700 4×4² Final Edition shares its engine with its base car but the V8 has been heavily breathed on. The stock turbochargers have been replaced by two larger units with larger compressors for higher boost pressure. Gold sheathing for the intake and boost pipes drops intake temperature for more power.

The net result is 515 kW of power and a whopping 960 N.m (a 200 N.m increase) of peak torque delivered between 2 000 and 4 500 r/min. The best part of the whole deal is that Brabus offers a three-year or 100 000 km warranty.

The company claims that the new model can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 5,0 seconds flat. Top speed is electronically limited to 210 km/h due to the off-road tyres.

A real off-roader

Speaking of off-road tyres, the Brabus 700 4×4² Final Edition is not made for showboating, it can venture far off the beaten path. An electronically adjustable suspension allows for individual adjustment of the ride height at the front and rear axles. Total ground clearance can be as high as 600 mm. The dampers on each strut also provide 15 percent more oil volume to cope to added loads when traversing rough terrain.

Carbon treatment

Massive carbon-fibre fender flares cover 22-inch wheels shod with Pirelli Scorpion ATR off-road tires of size 325/55 R 18.

The interior can be kitted with carbon-fibre trim in all imaginable colors or wood in various grains. Power-retractable steps are offered to make getting in and out easier.
