Unusual drag race video features a drone and an RC car

This unusual drag race features an SUV, a sportscar and two unlikely rivals in the shape of a radio-controlled car and a racing drone.

The guys at UK automotive site Car Wow have brought us some really interesting and entertaining drag race videos over time (many of which we’ve featured on our site). This week they have arranged an unusual drag race.

Land and air

Host Mat Watson has taken his daily driver, a Mercedes-AMG G63 to challenge an Audi R8 V10 Plus and two very unlikely rivals in this unusual drag race. The other two “vehicles” are a radio-controlled car and a racing drone. The four rivals line up in a series of tests to see which is quickest in a straight line, from standstill, from a rolling race and in a braking test.
