UK car website Car Wow releases a new drag race video just about every Saturday. This week they’ve filmed a supercar drag race for our viewing enjoyment.

Two heavy hitting machines are lined up for this supercar drag race. The McLaren 720S Spider is powered by a twin-turbocharged 4,0-litre V8 that produces a whopping 530 kW (learn more about the 720S Spider at this link). The 6,5-litre naturally aspirated V12 in the Lamborghini makes 566 kW. Together these cars make a combined 1 460 N.m of torque. The main difference between the two is how they transfer that power to the ground. Lamborghini channel power to all four wheels of the Aventador, whereas the McLaren uses a rear-wheel-drive layout.
