Roadster races is a series of speed trials between three rivals roadsters

UK auto website Car Wow lines up the best drag race videos; they also do so quicker than almost any other media outlet in the world. The cars featured are all available for sale in South Africa, which makes the challenges quite interesting. In this week’s instalment, they line up a trio of roadster races.

Three-up

Three contemporary and rival roadsters are lined up for a set of challenges. The Audi TT-S, BMW Z4 and Porsche Boxster GTS are subjected to a few time trials to determine which is the quickest. The first of these tests is to determine which car has the quickest acting folding roof mechanism. There is also the obligatory standing start drag race over 402 metres (a quarter mile in old speak), a rolling race and brake test.
