The Peralta S is a completely bespoke supercar that was designed for a wealthy collector by the name of Carlos Peralta. The car was penned by designer house GFG Style, which is headed up by Giorgetto Giugiaro and son, Fabrizio.

The Peralta S has a typically 1970s attitude and has nothing to do with today’s cars. I wanted to embellish it with references, stylistic elements, and allusions to forms from a past that made history, but it is also a tribute to my father, through a modern reinterpretation of the Boomerang’s volumes
– Fabrizio Giugiaro.

Multiple Hits

Giorgetto Giugiaro should be well known to South Africans as he designed the evergreen Mk1 VW Golf. Other hits from his drawing board include the Alfa Romeo Alfasud, Fiat Panda, Lotus Esprit, Bugatti EB112, BMW M1, Subaru SVX, and the DeLorean DMC 12.

Wedges Revived

The Peralta S features a wedged-shaped body, hand-formed in polished aluminum, which captures the attention and imagination. Giugiaro was one of the proponents of the wedge era of concept cars. As a reminder, the MC20 is powered by a twin-turbocharged V6 that produces 464 kW of power with 730 N.m of torque. The Peralta S will make its US debut at the Monterey Motorsports Festival on 16 August 2025.
