When Ferrari SF90 XX broke cover last year it was the first time that the company applied its XX treatment to a road car. As a result the SF90 XX is the most powerful road-going Ferrari ever. But for some people that just isn’t enough. Say hello to the Novitec Ferrari SF90 XX Stradale, which ramps up power from the twin-turbocharged V8 and adds subtle body tweaks.

More Power

The standard car’s 4,0-litre, twin-turbocharged V8 hardly lacks in power. The standard car makes 758 kW. A high-performance exhaust system adds 22 kW. As a result the Novitec Ferrari SF90 XX Stradale produces a total of 780 kW at 8 800 r/min. At the same time, peak torque of the combustion engine grows from 804 to 840 N.m. Oddly, Novitec doesn’t make any performance claims for its latest charge. However, we are willing to bet that the performance difference is really felt during in-gear acceleration, rather than from standstill. As a reminder, a ‘standard’ Ferrari SF90 XX can blast from rest to 100 km/h in 2,3 seconds and has a top speed of 320 km/h.

Better Aero

The Ferrari SF90 XX was tuned to deliver better lap times. As a result it leaves the factory with a massive fixed rear wing and movable elements on the body. Total total downforce of this combination is 315 kg at 250 km/h on the rear. Novitec has left the standard body work well alone. Intead it has fitted a set of aftermarket alloys from American wheel manufacturer Vossen. The new alloys measure 20×9,5 at the front and 21×12 on the rear axle. In addition the car wears sports springs that lower the ride height of the hybrid supercar by about 25 millimeters.
