New Appearance

Key to the Novitec Ferrari 296 GTB’s changes is a new appearance. The company has designed a developed an aero kit for the car in the wind tunnel. As a result the 296 looks sharper and has additional downforce, although Novitec doesn’t quote an actual figure.

The aero kit includes a lip spoiler at the front that is balance by a ‘ducktail’ rear spoiler. There is also a rear diffuser and rocker panels between the wheels for smoother airflow down the flanks.

A set of Vossen wheels were designed specifically for the Novitec Ferrari 296 GTB. These measure 21 inches at the front and 22 on the rear. The tyres sizes are 255/30 and 335/25, respectively. The alloys sit snug in the wheel arches thanks to a sports springs that drop the ride height of the Ferrari by about 35 millimeters.

More Power

Less obvious, but probably more important is the increase in power. Novitec raises power from the twin-turbocharged V6 to 638 kW, a 28 kW hike. The MGU-K electric drive positioned behind the V6 mid-mounted engine remains untouched.
