Here is your Monday Motorsport Round-Up.

We don’t usually cover two-wheel results, but since there is a South African flavour this weekend, we figured we’d bring you the good news.

Moto2

South African rider, and former Moto3 champ, Brad Binder took his maiden win the Moto2 class at the Moto GP races held at Sachsenring yesterday. Binder started in 10th position but made up places on the opening lap and would eventually lead a breakaway at the front of the field.

He held off Joan Mir and Luca Marini for his very first win since stepping up from Moto3. The three podium positions were covered by one second as they cross the line.

MotoGP

Marc Marques proved unbeatable, yet again, in the top flight MotoGP class. The reigning champ and current championship leader claimed an easy win over the Yamaha pair of Valentino Rossi and Maverick Vinales.
