The Revuelto Miura 60° Homage arrives as a 99-car run, developed through Ad Personam with Lamborghini Centro Stile. It will make its public debut at Monterey Car Week taking place in California.

Sixty years after the Miura first appeared in 1966, Lamborghini has chosen its V12 hybrid flagship to carry the tribute. This gives the car an odd but effective split personality: an archive piece and a modern missile. The old car’s shape language translates into the Revuelto’s far more aggressive proportions.

A Miura Idea In Modern Paint

The Revuelto Miura 60° Homage uses the Miura as a design brief, then filters those cues through the modern successor . The most obvious reference is the two-tone treatment. On the original Miura, the contrast between the upper body and lower sections helped define the car’s look. The same idea returns here, but with a sharper factory finish and a far more expensive canvas.

Buyers get a palette of nine colours drawn from historic Miura shades. Rosso Arancio, Arancio, Giallo, Verde Scandal, Verde Metallic, Blu Tahiti, Blu Notte, Nero Noctis and Bianco Monocerus all appear on the menu, each one chosen to echo a different part of the Miura story. Lamborghini also offers two dedicated liveries. One pairs Oro Elios with Altanero Shiny Gold wheels. The other uses Grigio Nimbus with Altanero Matt Titanium Diamond wheels. Both combinations are meant to call back the sort of colour pairing that gave the Miura its instant visual authority.

A Miura 60 logo sits above the Revuelto script on the side sill beside the rear wheel arch, while the Lamborghini script at the back is finished in gloss black. That rear badge recalls a small but recognisable Miura detail rather than screaming about the anniversary from across a car park. Gloss black brake calipers and matte black exhaust tailpipes finish the exterior package without cluttering it.

The Cabin

Inside, the Homage keeps the story going without turning the cabin into a museum display. The seats use the Classica Trim treatment, which reworks the Miura’s familiar “cannelloni” pattern for the modern car. Leather runs across the centre tunnel, the door panels and the rear bulkhead that separates the passenger cell from the engine bay. That last detail is a neat one because it brings the cabin closer to the old-school supercar feel, where the machinery was never far away and never meant to disappear into the background.

A Miura 60 embroidery sits between the two seats. Owners will photograph this detail once and then stop noticing it, because the rest of the cabin already does the job. The point here is not overstatement, but continuity. Lamborghini has taken enough of the Miura’s visual language to make the connection obvious, then stopped before the whole thing became costume drama.

There is also a thoughtful touch for people who already own the real thing. Historic Miura owners can work with Ad Personam to recreate their original colour combinations if those fall outside the nine standard hues offered on the Revuelto. This bespoke move makes sense when the badge carries real weight. It turns the anniversary package into something closer to a family reunion than a generic special edition.

Every car carries its own proof of scarcity on a carbon-fibre plaque mounted on the driver’s side. The inscription reads “Miura 60° – Serie Speciale 1 di 99”. No fanfare, no overcooked slogan, just the number that tells you exactly how many will exist.

The Numbers

The Miura earned this level of ceremony because it was a genuine break with the past. Unveiled in 1966, it is still treated as the first super sports car, and for good reason. The most potent version made 285 kW and ran beyond 290 km/h, figures that were properly outrageous for the era. More important than the headline numbers was the shape of the thing. The Miura’s design, and the confidence behind it, became one of the defining images of 1960s car culture.

The Revuelto is a very different machine, but it is carrying the same swagger in a different language. It is Lamborghini’s first V12 HPEV, pairing a naturally aspirated 6,5-litre V12 with three electric motors and a high specific power lithium-ion battery. The result is 747 kW and 807 N.m of torque, enough for 0 to 100 km/h in 2.5 seconds and a top speed of more than 350 km/h.

This is the real appeal of this special series. Lamborghini is not pretending the Miura and Revuelto are the same kind of car. It is showing what changed in six decades and what did not. The shape, the drama and the V12 obsession remain, while the drivetrain has moved into plug-in hybrid territory and the performance window has widened beyond anything the original could have imagined.
