Five Facts About The Mercedes-AMG One

  1. Only 275 units of the Mercedes-AMG One will be produced and each car will be hand-assembled at a bespoke facility in the UK.
  2. AMG One is the very first road car to boast a complete Formula One powertrain. The AMG One has the same 1,6-litre turbocharged V6, with hybrid component, as mandated in F1.
  3. The powertrain boasts peak power of 782 kW and can rev to 11 000 r/min. The electrical components of the powertrain allow the car to travel 18 km in pure EV mode.
  4. AMG One has DRS, or drag reduction system, which reduces aerodynamic drag by 20 per cent at the touch of a button. This allows for speeds up to 352 km/h with DRS activated.
  5. The apex AMG has a carbon-ceramic composite brake system. The brake discs measure a whopping 398 mm on the front axle and 380 mm on the rear. AMG one features ABS with brake assist as well as three-stage ESP.
