BMW’s M3, and more recently M4, created a segment in which it has long been considered the benchmark. The current generation was launched a few years ago and has since spawned a number of derivatives, including the DTM and GTS. I drove the very first version at Kyalami and returned to drive the CS variant there as well. My full review of both cars is here:
