Practice sessions on Saturday took place in the wet. As a result, competitors lost crucial practice time. Thankfully the sun shone brightly on the Simola Estate for the finals on Sunday. We were trackside to watch competitors attack the 1,9 km course. The large field consisted of standard road cars, such as the zippy Suzuki Swift Sport, all the way up to specialised single-seater hillclimb machines.
