The SEMA show is one of the largest events in the world for the automotive aftermarket industry. For many years now companies have been producing show cars especially for this annual showcase. This twin-turbo Dodge Hellcat for SEMA Show 2019 was teased by SpeedKore yesterday.

Second act

SpeedKore wowed the crowds at SEMA last year by unveiling an all-carbon fibre musclecar that took the shape of the legendary Dodge Charger but fashioned entirely out of the lightweight material (click here to see and read about that car). For 2019 the team is keeping with the carbon-fibre theme, this time applied to a more modern Dodge Hellcat.

They start with a Dodge Hellcat 6,2-litre supercharged V8, but ditch the belt-driven compressor in favour of two turbochargers. No power figures have yet been revealed, but we’d be surprised if it produces under four figures. To transfer the increased power to the ground SpeedKore turned the Hellcat into an all-wheel-drive machine. A Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk all-wheel-drive drivetrain has been installed.

The final touch has been the fitment of a carbon-fibre body kit to cover up all the bespoke internals. The twin-turbo Dodge Hellcat and full details of technical specifications will be unveiled at the SEMA show on November 5, 2019.
