Elevated Performance

At the heart of the GT63 PRO is the firm’s familiar 4,0-litre twin-turbocharged V8. Power has been hiked to 450 kW, a 20 kW increase over the ‘regular’ GT63. Peak torque rises by 50 to 850 N.m. The engine is mated to an AMG nine-speed automatic transmission. An all-wheel-drive system delivers power to the tarmac. The GT63 PRO is said to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds, with a top speed 317 km/h.

Track-Focused Design

The exterior of the Mercedes-AMG GT63 Pro 4Matic+ several cues that differentiate it. Distinctive design elements include a more aggressive front bumper with larger air intakes, a carbon-fiber bonnet with functional vents, and a fixed rear spoiler. Mercedes says the new aero kit, with active underbody panel, reduces lift and the front and produces downforce at the rear.

The car also features lightweight 21-inch forged wheels and high-performance tyres. The standard braking system consist of ceramic high-performance composites. The system has six-piston calipers at the front and one-piston calipers at the rear. The front discs are 420-millimetre in diameter.

Race Inspired

Inside, the GT 63 PRO boasts a race-inspired cabin. Occupants will find heavily bolstered sport seats, a flat-bottom steering wheel, and a digital instrument cluster that displays vital performance data. The use of lightweight materials, such as carbon fiber and Alcantara, further contributes to the car’s track-focused character.
