The fourth annual Concours South Africa concluded with a Ferrari Dino 246 GT taking top honours just ahead of a BMW 325iS while a 1960 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint took a close third, at the show’s return to the Steyn City Parkland Residence for the second consecutive year.

“The level of competition was extraordinarily high. So much so that the top 10 selected for final judging became a top 12,” says chief concours judge Marius Malherbe.

The final day of the event, falling on Spring day, also saw Mrs Carolyn Steyn awarding the prize of Best Dressed Lady to Lizelia Wort, amid the celebration of stylish automotive icons, legendary South Africans, fine wine and sumptuous food.

“We’re delighted to see this year’s event grow and to have had the opportunity to host Concours South Africa at our new picturesque location with its quaint stone bridges and scenic dams. There’s a perfect synergy between our lush parkland setting and this elegant automobile event. It fits hand in glove with our aim to provide residents with the opportunity to enjoy the finer things in life,” says Steyn City Properties CEO, Giuseppe Plumari.
