One-off
The Pagani Huayra Epitome was the wish of one of the brand’s clients. The Italian hypercar maker was happy to oblige. The brand’s Grandi Complicazioni, the division dedicated to special projects, was consulted to build this one-off creation. The wish was, seemingly, to build an extreme road-going version of the Huayra. The build took ten months to complete.
“The client came to us with clear ideas: he wanted to create a unique example that would take the Huayra to its highest expression. Its name could only be ‘Epitome’, as the most essential embodiment of a concept, an idea, a value. He dreamed of a car with an exclusive design that would further elevate the Huayra’s performance while maintaining its innate elegance” Lorenzo Kerkoc, head of Pagani Grandi Complicazioni.

Differences
The Pagani Huayra Epitome has new front and rear bumpers, new front clamshell with unique light clusters and a new wheel arch air extraction system. Additionally, a new front splitter is complemented by an integrated wing. The latter borrowed from the track-going Huayra R. The best change could be the one you can’t see from the outside. This is the only Huayra with a manual transmission. A seven-speed X-trac unit sends power to the rear axle. Speaking of power…
The Epitome still utilises the familiar V12 that Pagani sources from AMG. The 6,0-litre twin-turbocharged unit produces 635 kW along with peak torque of 1 100 N.m.Other mechanical changes include a “super soft” button for the active dampers. This mode provides extra comfort when driving on rough roads. Above 150 km/h the dampers return to their normal condition.
