No one has ever accused a Lamborghini, any Lamborghini, of being too timid in the styling department. But, as with anything in life, there are those who prefer to go a step further, which is why we have the Novitec Lamborghini Huracan Evo. Subtle but distinctive

Mitja Borkert’s Huracan Evo is a great evolution of the original shape of Lamborghini’s entry-level sportscar range. With the Novitec Lamborghini Huracan Evo the German tuning house aimed to create a styling kit for owners of the mid-engine sports car who want to make their vehicles sportier and more individual.

Novitec’s designers developed an aerodynamic-enhancement bodykit that was wind-tunnel tested in order to produce even more downforce than the standard car. The kit is manufactured with a naked-carbon finish to give the Huracan Evo a racier look. However, if you prefer to remain undercover the components can be painted in vehicle- or contrasting colour.

There are three styling options for the face of the Novitec Lamborghini Huracan Evo. They can be installed separately or as a complete set: The central front blade and the two-piece spoiler extensions. A trunk lid has slits on the left and right above the bumper to route the airflow through integrated ducts to the outlets in front of the windshield generating additional downforce. A new rear carbon spoiler, which works in conjunction with a rear diffuser, produces additional downforce at high speeds. An air scoop on the engine cover provides extra air for the engine and for cooling purposes.

In profile

There are new styling cues that can be seen in profile on the Novitec Lamborghini Huracan Evo. These include lower sills, carbon-fibre mirror covers, and extended air intakes at the rear side windows. The most obvious change is the fitment of alloys produced by US manufacturer Vossen. Buyers can choose from three styles. These new wheels measure 20-inch at the front and 21-inch at the rear. You can opt for the NL4 forged rims (as seen above), which are available in a centre-lock design. To emphasis the larger rim-tyre combo the Novitec Evo is fitted with springs that lower the ride height by about 35 mm.

If the novel appearance is not enough then you can also announce your arrival with a high-performance exhaust system. Two options are available: stainless steel with high-temperature thermal insulation or Inconel, as used in Formula 1 cars.
