Sharper styling

The new model has a differentiated appearance compared to its predecessor. A Sport Design front is now standard and features larger side cooling openings and a single-bar front light module. The new front end of the Panamera Turbo S is differentiated by the larger side air intakes and front lights set further apart.

The changes up front are complemented by a revamped light strip at the rear now runs over the luggage compartment lid and connects two newly designed LED taillight clusters. GTS models sport the new darkened tail light lenses as standard. Three new 20- and 21-inch wheels have been added to the wheel range, so that a total of 10 different designs are now available.

Powertrains

The new Porsche Panamera can be ordered in three body styles: regular or extended wheelbase and Sport Turismo, depending on the powertrain. Multiple powertrains are featured at the time of launch. Opening up the range are the Panamera and Panamera 4. These derivatives now equipped with a 2,9-litre twin-turbocharged V6 with 243 kW and 450 N.m of torque. Panamera GTS models feature a twin-turbocharged V8 with 353 kW (+15 kW than before) and 620 N.m. The engine breathes through a new standard sports exhaust system. Leading the petrol-fed line-up is the Panamera Turbo S, which has a whopping 463 kW of power and 820 N.m of torque from a twin-turbocharged 4,0-litre V8. These outputs allow this performance version to sprint from 0-100 km/h in just 3,1 seconds. Top speed is rated as 315 km/h

The Panamera 4S E-Hybrid is a new addition to the range of plug-in hybrids. It offers 412 kW with maximum system torque of 750 N.m. Power is derived from a 2,9-litre twin-turbocharged V6 and 100 kW electric motor. Compared with the previous hybrid models, the all-electric range has been boosted by up to 30 per cent. The 4S E-Hybrid’s 17,9 kWh battery allows for an electric-only range of up to 54 km.
