In an annual event hosted by Aston Martin sellers are allowed to bring in their cars for sale at the company’s home in Newport, Pagnell. The year marked the 16th anniversary of the event, and the proceedings ended with an extraordinary   £10,280,275 in sales. Over 50 vintage Aston Martins were sold, among them two DB Mark II sports saloon cars which sold for a combined £220, 280. Of the 350 Aston Martins on sale the two top earners were a 1962 DB4 Series IV Vantage Convertible which went for £1,513,500, and a 1966 DB5 Vantage Convertible sold for £1,524,700 to become the most expensive ride at the auction. The event was held at the Aston Martin Owners Club at Woburn Abbey, and this year the record for the amount of cars and money raised were broken.
