These adverts had me laughing! Kawasaki is the bike to ride, it’ll challenge, compete and win!

Kawasaki came out with their first bike in 1954, it was called Meihatsu. Two years later they produce an improved model of the Meihatsu, and only then was the Kawasaki logo stamped into the engine side cover. In 1973 Kawasaki introduced their first superbike, named the Z1. Three years later, they improved the Z1 and turned it into a more powerful bike called Z900. By this time the motorcycle market had grown dramatically. The GPZ900R was released in 1983, it was sold in the US and renamed Ninja.
