Brabus is not known for subtle modifications, as you can see from this link. Most of its creations would stand out even at the Sema Show. Its latest, the Brabus Rocket GTS is its wildest to date. Brabus refer to the GTS as a hyper gran turismo shooting brake. We can’t think of another, so this is probably the first of its kind.

Unique Silhouette
Brabus has created its own take on the Shooting Brake concept with the Rocket GTS. The company started with a Mercedes-AMG SL63 E-Performance and completely redesigned the exterior appearance. The donor car was shorn of all its body work. In its place is a newly designed shape that was honed in the wind tunnel and the result of extensive digital modelling. The most noticeable change is the new, extended roofline. As a result the Brabus Rocket GTS is a 2+2 with ample luggage space. Oh, and the entire body s made from lightweight carbon-fibre.

Serious Punch
The Brabus Rocket GTS has serious punch thanks to a massively revised powertrain. The standard car’s hybrid system has been retained. However, the engine has been punched out to 4,5 litres. As a result the combined system output is 735 kW (1 000 hp). This figure coupled with a whopping 1 620 Nm of torque.
Thanks to the standard all-wheel-drive system the Rocket GTS sprints to 100 km/h in just 2,6 seconds and hits 200 km/h in just 9,5. It takes a blistering 23,6 seconds pass between the start and breaking through 300 km/h. The top speed is electronically limited to 317 km/h.
